Hard to believe it's been a year since Uncle Bobby went to be with our creator. He was such a character and a "man after God's own heart" . Uncle Dickie's boys loved him so very much.

I didn't know Mr. Crouch very well; he was my parents' realtor back in the 1990s, when they purchased their dream home. However, they brought me along with them to look at houses, and I have fond memories of Mr. Crouch's sense of humor and all the fun we had joking around. Once, when we were in a house with a jacuzzi, he grabbed a wine bottle beside the tub, jumped in, and asked, "hey, how about this?" as he pretended to drink. I thought, "this guy is cool!"

Many years ago I was in a Bible study with Bobby. We were working on the the Parable of the Good Samaritan. The question came up about who do we need to help, since we can't help everyone we encounter and also sometimes it's very hard to distinguish between "helping" and "enabling". After much discussion, Bobby's wise words came out something like this: "Our job is to always be in relationship with Jesus. That way, we will know what He wants and needs us to do."
This, for me, Is Bobby's legacy!
