Robert Corey Obituary

Robert Edward Corey, Sr. N. Charleston - Robert Edward Corey, Sr. entered into eternal rest Friday, January 07, 2022. He was 91. Mr. Corey was born in New Milford, CT on November 8, 1930, a son of the late Francis and Josephine Pallman Corey. He was a 1948 graduate of the New Milford High School. He attended business schools in Bridgeport, CT from 1948 to 1952. Mr. Corey served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked in New Milford and Danbury, CT as an accountant, and from 1980 to 2014, he was self-employed in Danbury and Bethal, CT as a tax preparer. Mr. Corey resided in Bridgewater, CT for 42 years, where he served 30 years on the Board of Tax Review. He later moved to Danbury, CT before eventually settling in North Charleston, SC in 2014. Mr. Corey is survived by one daughter, Sandra Lane of Charleston, SC; three sons, David Bryan and Paul G. of Charleston, SC, and John J. of Oak Harbor, WA; eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wife, Lula Laura. He was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Corey, Jr; and his sister, Donna Ladd. Arrangements by JAMES A. MCALISTER, INC.
