An avid golfer and experienced pilot, Bud found great delight in taking control of both the eighteenth hole of a golf course and the instrument panel of his airplane. Bud was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Francis Boland; mother, Alberta L. Boland; brother, Albert Boland; sister, Barbara Kline; and grandson, George Hames Boland. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marye Vaughan Boland; sister, Beverly Rose of Santa Rosa, California; sons Robert Boland of Salisbury, North Carolina; John Boland and David Boland(Lisa) both of Pascagoula; and seven grandchildren, Gabrielle, Lillie, Edward, Oliver, Bettina, Rosemary, and James. Marye and family,

I was saddened to learn of Bud's passing. It's a difficult thing to lose someone with whom you have spent your entire married life. I know because I lost my husband 2 years ago.

May he rest in peace.
