It was a pleasure to have Bob as classmate and to see him at SLO High School reunions. Bob was a calm, steady all-around-good guy, and made his contribution, in the way he lived his life, toward making SLO the special place it is.

Bob was one of my first friends in slo late 1960's or 1961. We met him at little chef cruise night, he was probably driving that car in the picture. He sold us tri-tip when other butchers were throwing it away or making hamburger out of it. To me he is the tri-tip originator. The whole bjorkland family was instilled with family values and can be proud of your parents. Bob is a good person and is missed by friends and family. God bless you all.

I always enjoyed Bob, he made me laugh while he was making my sandwich. If I was heading to Vegas or Tahoe, he would give me five dollars to bet for him.
He will be missed, thoughts and prayers are with family

To Gloria, Ray and Ray-Ray - my sincere condolences! I will always remember Bobby in his white apron, sweeping the sidewalk in front of Muzio's or standing behind the meat counter. It seems like I knew him forever, as did many of us who grew up here. The city is poorer without him, God bless and R.I.P. Bob.

My Mom, Mabelle Pence, lives at the same residential facility as Bob so we would both visit with him occasionally when Mom was out of her room and Bob was either passing through or sitting on the loveseat. When he found out that Mom's children were native to SLO he would reflect on the days at Musio's. He will be missed by many. My thoughts are with all of you.

Sorry Rick. Although I never met your brother I'm sure he possessed the Great Bjorklund sense of humor and class. The place a man leaves is in the heart of those left behind. Enjoy his memory.

A big hug to all the Bjorklund family. We remember Bob from growing up here in San Luis. We remember going to the market on Santa Rosa St. and later at Muzios. We can still picture him in both places, he was always nice and friendly.
We will miss seeing him around. Ricky we are sorry you had to lose your brother, that leaves an empty space. We are thinking of you.

So saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a kind, calm man with a ready smile. I remember him from my childhood, when I bought groceries from Santa Rosa Market, in the '60's. I will miss seeing him at Muzio's too. Rest in peace, my friend.

Our family were neighbors to the Bjorklunds in the late 1940's, while they lived on Toro St. Back yards were adjacent Buchon/Toro.
Bobby was one year older than my younger brother. I remember when his father worked at the Sear's Market, then located on the corner of Marsh and Chorro. Many blessings and comfort to the family as you remember him.

No words can described my cousin Bobby.. I watched as we grew up across the street from each other, of a kid becoming a man and moving forward in his life. Hard worker, sincere, compassionate but always in the light of God as his parents wanted it that way. I miss going to see him at Muscio's for a bite and good chat, to catch up on things and to share a laugh or two. I look towards seeing you again some day and we will walk with all our families once again. Peace be with you Bobby

As a student wife at Cal Poly back on the 70's I recall Going to Muzios for sandwiches quite often. Customers were always met with a smile from Bob. He was always so helpful and happy when helping his customers! I am so sad to hear of his passing. He was a SLO "icon!" And just a special person!

I was deeply saddened to read the online SLO Tribune this morning and to learn of Bob's passing. He and his father will forever be remembered in San Luis Obispo history for their time at Muzio's on Monterey Street. I was very fortunate in the 1980s to take several black-and-white photographs of Bob at work at Muzio's. One of those photographs is now preserved at the San Luis Obispo History Center archives. Marsha and I extend our condolences to all of Bob's family. Rest in Eternal Peace, Bob.
