Robert Bertino Obituary

When I first got started in the computer field, Bob gave me a lot of pointers to help me along. We became true friends.

Bob loved to collect coins. He once showed me a small part of his collection it was truly impressive.

Bob was a great fellow. I would periodically stop in the shop just to say hello. He could carry a great conversation about anything. He gave me a copy of End Game about a year after it was released. Man how "Prophetical" it was then and now. I stopped by the shop today to tell him about it. I can honestly say that I have never felt such a loss from a businessman. Thankyou for everything. God Bless you.

Bob was a truly unique individual and a really great guy. There can only ever be 1 Bob Bertino and he will be greatly missed by everyone who met him. I met Bob in the mid-1990's through his business, BWC when he ran it out of an apartment. He provided good quality hardware at a reasonable value. As his business grew and moved to larger spaces, we went with him. When my business partner, Gerri Sandford and I started our own IT business, we bought tons of equipment from him and referred many clients to him over the years. He was a very charismatic individual that had lots of business sense. I will miss those conversations he had over the years. My sincere condolences to Beverly and family. I still have my special thank you gifts that Bob gave me 25 years ago for doing business with him. He gave me Silver Dollars in a commemorative case. I still have those today and now are more cherished than before. I am truly sorry Bob is gone. He will be missed and never forgotten.

I'm crushed to hear about about Bob's death. I was a customer and friend. Bob was always so kind, funny and helpful. I'm so glad I had a chance to meet him and enjoyed our visits over the years. My sincere condolences to his wife and family. Christine Wilkerson

What a unique person. I only met him a few times at Crazy Bob's as a customer. Always willing to help sometimes at no charge. My husband and I looked forward to his snarky postings on Facebook. That's how we just discovered his passing

I remember meeting bob in an apartment complex where he helped us computer 3d geeks get the parts we needed for a great price when I was just learning 3D Animation. He was a great guy and every time I went to see him, he always remembered me and helped us out. He was a great guy and will be surely missed. He helped me on my journey in life.

I only recently met Bob this past November as a customer but soon he was a friend. I recall him asking how I heard about his store on Rivers Ave. I told him anyone who named their store "Crazy Bob's Electronics" was either really good or just the opposite. Happy to report his business ratings were spot on as he was very knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations in every way. His knowledge and skill was nothing short of extraordinary and I'm happy to call him a friend. I was shocked to hear of his unexpected passing and send my deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. You will be missed!!!

A friend referred me to Bob many years ago to help with a computer problem. I was impressed with the work he did and at a fair price. As a result of this I knew he would always be the go to guy for my computer needs. I was never disappointed and always imagined he would be there in the future. The same friend who initially referred me to him broke the news to me that he had passed. I was shocked and saddened. Somehow I thought he would always be there. My sympathy goes out to all the family and friends who feel this loss. We loved you Bob and will never forget you. SKIP

Bev I am in total shock and saddened to my core. I cannot imagine what you are going through. Prayers of welcome are going out for Bob and prayers for healing and hope for you. He will always be someone I carry with me but I will still miss him. Please reach out if you need me. I am traveling with my mom so will not be able to be there Saturday.

Bob's passing was a shock, and we're so sorry he's gone. We grieve with his wife Beverly and extended family over such a deep loss. Glad for the time we visited and met Beverly at our last Geneva High School Reunion just 5 years ago!

We are still stunned by this news. No one can ever replace the amazing person that Bob was to everyone that knew him. I’ve known Bob for over 20 years. He will be missed by so many. Our thoughts are with you Bev during this time. Rest In Peace Bob

Sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I knew him since grade school and stopping at his parents store.

What to say about someone who encompassed so many facets of life and did it all so well. I've known Bob probably 15 years or so, and he was a take charge of guy. Most folks want symptoms of a problem; not Bob. He only needed to know you had a problem and that was enough. Even after I moved upstate, we stayed in touch and when down that way I'd stop in and " jaw " a bit. Bob was many things, but most of all he was a friend, and will be deeply missed.
