Bob was an inspiration to me in so many ways! I met him on the tennis courts one day when I was first learning to play! He graciously hit with me that day and began a long friendship of tennis fishing, turkey hunting and most of all mentoring!! One of my many favorite memories was winning a tournament together at St Andrews!! In my opinion one of the greatest men I’ve ever come to know!!

Mr. Berry was a very nice man and contributed much to the Berkeley County Dept. of Education. I know he will be missed by his family. He fought a long battle. May his soul rest in peace. May God comfort his sweet wife, my friend David and the rest of his family. Amen.

To the Berry Family,
You have my deepest sympathy. Mr. Berry was a wonderful individual. He hired me for my first teaching position in Berkeley County thirty-six years ago and was a friend whose door was always open whenever I needed to talk with him. I thank God for him because he truly cared about people.
May God bring you comfort during this difficult time. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

May God give you Peace and comfort during this time of parting. I was a recipient of his kindness and generosity throughout my many years association with Bob as a fellow administrator. He was always a professional colleague I could call upon for advice that I knew would be not only valid but in many cases inspirational. He was truly an educator's educator.
