Debbie and family, I was very taken back when I found out that Bob had passed onward to be with God. Please know that he was a dear friend from the moment we met twelve or so years ago. The lunches we shared, the golf (he beat me everytime) and the laughs will never be forgotten!! Since I left Ridgeland in 2004, I have thought of him often. He was a true to heart, honest and light hearted man. I know that he is blessed in the presence of God and is looking down upon you all today and always! With each gentle breeze that kisses your cheeks, know that Bob is near. Love to you all, Mike Laney.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Barrett, I met him when I was a Police officer in Hardeeville, SC.
He was a great Doctor who helped several police officers.
He showed me a picture of him as a youger man in a police uniform and told me he once was a police officer, he respected law enforcement.
Dr. Barret was more than a Doctor he was a friend who I visited just because his words and advice made my day better, he cared about his patients and treated them like family. Dr. Barret was a true healer of pain.
Dr. Barrett will be missed and is in my prayers.

Debbie,Heather, Ross & Zack,
We are sooooo sorry to hear about your beloved Bob. Bob was such a terrificwonderful awesome good and Godly man. Bob truly enjoyed helping people, that is what made him such a great dedicated chiropractor. He was a servant and friend to all, like the good samaritan in the Bible(Luke 10:33-37) showing mercy and compassion for others always. He will be missed dearly but it is comforting to know he is with his Creator embracing eternal life. May God through the power of His Holy Spirit bring comfort and peace to you all.
We love you Bob Barrett!!!

I will greatly miss Dr. Barrett. He was a colleague and a friend. I would often drive from Beaufort to his office for an adjustment on my lunch break. He was a wonderful chiropractor and was always so full of life. This just reminds me that I should always let people know how special they are before it's too late. My prayers are with his family. If there is anything I can do to help please feel free to let me know.

Dear Barrett Family,
Words will never convey how deeply your loss is felt or how much this incredible man will be missed. I wish to say that he was not just our doctor, but a dear friend. He treated each of us as family, and the feelings were returned. Through his wonderful treatments, our children have experienced the best health they have ever known. He made each of our daughters feel loved and very important to him. One of my husbands favorite memories, of Dr. Barrett, was when he adjusted our youngest daughters teddy bear to help her feel more comfortable with the process. There aren't many people in this world who would think about that aspect of their patients, your husband was one of those people. He always had time to talk to each of us, with plenty of hugs to be given out to our girls, every time we came in. He never once forgot their birthdays' ( they really enjoyed his $1 gift - but it wasn't the money it was the knowledge that they were important enough to him for him to remember their special day). As for my husband and me, the health improvements for both of us are as obvious as the warm feelings we felt for having met such a man. To call him our friend does not begin to convey what he meant to our family. He will be truly missed by all who knew him, my family lost a close and dear friend, you and your family an incredible husband and father, and the community of Hardeeville, someone who was a shining example of all that can and should be in a community leader. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the days and weeks to come, may you take solace in the knowledge that he touched so many lives and was loved, honored and respected by all who were lucky enough to call him friend.

Debbie, Heather, Ross and Zach,
I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Barrett's passing. Not only was he a great boss, he was like a second Dad to me. He and Debbie always made Mike and I feel like family and for that I will be forever grateful. He also gave me the opportunity to learn a new skill in doing office work.
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all and "Dr. B" will always hold a special place in my heart.
Sincerely,
Mary H. Barnwell
