Robert Barnhill Obituary

Robert Barnhill PELZER, SC - Robert Ellerbe 'Rock' Barnhill, 77, beloved husband for 57 years of Nena Hair Barnhill, passed away August 29, 2012 at home. Born in Conway, Rock was a son of the late William Melton and Sadie Allen Barnhill. He served in the US Navy and was retired from The Prudential. He was an avid hunter. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Robin Thompson of Sanford, NC, Chloe Barnhill of Easley, and Robert Edward Barnhill of Pelzer; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Barnhill. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Sat., Sep. 1 at Palmetto Mortuary of SC, 1313A Miller Rd., Greenville, SC 29607.
