We are Peet Dickinson's parents. We were so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. We have alway enjoyed chatting with him during our visits to the Cathedral. He always greeted us with an enthusiastic welcome and always had such nice things to say about our son and the positive atmosphere he had been witnessing at the Cathedral. Peet will miss him so much! May you find strength and peace during this very difficult time and in the days ahead. May God bless you and watch over you and your extended family. Suzie and Rob Dickinson

How many photos did Robert take of Buist students while you were principal? His participation in the life of the community at large as well as serving as the erstwhile Buist photographer during every event and activity are my most vibrant memories of Robert - always wearing a jaunty hat (which he always removed when indoors). I know you will miss him. We all will. Much Love to you -

What a loss for our wonderful city! A true gentleman, always cheerful, and deeply concerned about those living here. I cannot believe I will no longer see his smile as he hands me a bulletin when walking into church. Heaven has a new livability chairman!
