I remember Robert in kindergarten at ARA. I know we haven't seen each other in years, but I wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss. I pray that the Lord strengthens you in the days ahead.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a great person. I was fortunate to be Robert's friend in highschool, and always happy to see him when he would visit home.I will always remember Robert for his wonderful personality, and the way he could always make people laugh. He was a very good friend to many people.

I will always love you like the brother that you have been to me for so long. I never could have made it as far as i have with out knowing you were here to catch me. I am so sorry for you loss. Bert was such a great friend to me and took such great care of me. I will never forget all the great times we had a Clemson and the years after. Because of his love for dogs, I adopted one from the pound in Anderson a couple of years ago. His kind patience and loving care for those abandoned and abused animals showed what a remarkable person he was. Words cannot explain what a great friend he was to everyone he met. He will be missed!

My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. Robert was a wonderful person and will be missed greatly by all.

My heartfelt sympathies are with the Baldwin family during this difficult time. Robert and I met in 1994 at Wofford and became friends instantly. He had the biggest heart and kindest soul. Robert & I kept in touch, and I later accompanied him to his prom at Archibald Rutledge. I will never forget his smile and his wonderful character. He will be forever missed.

We have wonderful memories of Robert, as a baby, as a child, as a teenager, and as a young man. He has always been loving, kind, helpful, and unselfish. He has gladly given up his bed for us when we visited him and his family in McClellanville. Robert exemplifies small town values and is a product of a loving family. He has given up his weekends to come help us by doing yard work and preparing meals. There are so many things now to remind us of Robert. We will miss him.
