Shana, this is Charles and Dawn Bayne, your old neighbors for 20 years. We are so saddened to learn of this...we loved you and Robert and enjoyed living next to you. Robert would always stop by on his way into the house and speak with Dawn and me, we truly enjoyed his always cheerful attitude. I learned of this too late to attend the services. It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

My prayers are with Robert's family. I was saddened to hear of his passing this morning. Robert's smile was always so welcoming and BA's booming laugh could warm the coldest of all hearts. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

I was so sorry to hear about Robert's passing. I only found out on the morning of the funeral or I would have planned to come. He was a remarkable man and he will be sorely missed. My love and prayers to Weston and Elizabeth and the boys.

My deepest condolences to Ambassador and Mrs. Adams and their family. Robert was a fine man who lived up to his family's distinguished legacy. SC was lucky to have had his service for the public good. He left us to soon.

Robert Adams was one of the good guys...in every way possible!

I first met Robert almost 50 years ago when his father and I served together in the SC House of Representatives. Of course, he was just a young child then, but I enjoyed seeing his growth and progress over the years as he became a political expert in his own right. He was smart, loyal and hard-working, making him a respected and successful lobbyist. The entire Adams family is in my thoughts and prayers. God's peace to you.
