Rita Marie Stiegelmeyer Goose Creek - Rita Marie Stiegelmeyer, 86, of Goose Creek, SC, widow of Roy "Jack" Stiegelmeyer, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 19, 2022. Her memorial service will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 4:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rita was born August 6, 1936 in Decatur, IL, daughter of the late Elwood Brown and the late Lucille Tremper Williams Brown. Rita was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked in a daycare as a secretary. She enjoyed traveling to visit family. She is survived by her daughter, Debby Campbell Stiegelmeyer of Cashe, OK; two sons, David L. Stiegelmeyer of Moncks Corner, SC and Dennis (Dawn) Stiegelmeyer of Goose Creek, SC; sister, Patricia Fischer of MD; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
