Rita was like a second mother to my children and many more who came in the nursury at Holmes Ave Baptist Church many years ago. She was a special freind to me. She will be missed very much at Holmes Ave.

My friendship with Rita began at Holmes Ave Baptist Church in the early 60s. She helped many folks raise their children, including me. She was a Godly woman. The Lord and her children were her Joy.

She will be missed in North Charleston, but we will see her one day still taking care of the little ones.

Love in Christ,

Tom and Faith,

I’m sorry I missed the service for your mother, but I did not find out until too late. I would have loved to have seen both of you after all these years. Your mother was always so proud of you. Both Traci and Sandi were saddened when I gave them the news. We all have fond memories of Mommy Mole. She truly had a God-given talent of working with children. I still share my amazement at how she had full control over any situation while, at the same time, was taking care of many children. I’m so thankful she could keep my girls when they were young.
