To Lenora and the family, I want to let you know that I feel your pain. Ricky was my lil brother, friend and buddy. You are not alone so many love him to. I am so glad I was able to attend such a glorious farewell for him. We all can share the precious moments we spent with him. I remember all the late nights we spent in the diner, and the next day we laugh at each other trying to sleep in the service. He was truly a fun loving brother. I love you all.

To Lady Lenora O'Neal and the O'Neal family. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Bishop Ricky O'Neal was a man of God that will not be easily forgotten. He has left an impact on his family, his community and the body of Christ. He was a joy to work with. He was my brother in the Gospel and my co-worker in the Greater Highway Deliverance Temple Ministries organization. On behalf of the My Father's House International Outreach Ministries, we want you know that we will be on the altar calling your family's name in prayer. If there is anything that we can do to bless you or help you, please do not hesitate to call upon us.

To the family of the Late Bishop Ricky O'Neal & to Lady Lenora O'Neal; we extend to you our deepest condolences during his difficult time. Find comfort in knowing that Bishop O'Neal is in a better place. The God that we serve makes no mistakes and Bishop O'Neal going to be with him; although painful as it may be; was in no way a mistake. We serve an able God and he is able to give you peace in the midst of this storm. He will cease the rain and quiet the storm just for you and your family. Lift your eyes to the hills, dry the tears from them and know that you will see him again in the rapture. Our family will be praying for you. We love you with the love of Jesus.

To First Lady O'Neal and family. Also to the Greater Joy Family and all of the Ministries which were under his covering and influential sphere. Surely not only have we lost a great preacher, pastor, and teacher, but also a great human being who will be sorely missed. I remember Bishop Ricky as a young man selected to be the Tabernacle Bible Institue's Questionnaire at the Graduation Ceremony over 20 years ago. Who would have thought that God would have used him in such a marvelous way. Yet, although he kept having trouble with his hat on that memorable day he had no trouble recalling the word of God verbatimly concerning his academic years of study and things he had learned while being there. One thing you knew from that event was even as a young bible school student Ricky was one who spent time in The Word of God. His time spent in preparation was not in vain because one day God would use those formative years of preparation to help him encourage so Many along the way. May the joy and many memories of having such a great soul in our presence be a source of comfort to all of us who are now mourning his passing and may we also thank God for allowing such an honorable man of God to come our way.

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”
On behalf of the Greater Highway Deliverance Temple Ministries, Inc.; I would like to extend my condolences to First Lady Lenora O’Neal and the O’Neal family. We bow in humble submission to the Divine Will of the Lord in the departure of one of the greatest preachers of our time. He will be sadly missed in our person but in our spirit we rejoice in his rest from labor.
Today is not a day of mourning, though many of our hearts hangs heavy. For even in times like these, we are still able to witness the glory of GOD.
Today is a day of celebration, though many of our eyes weep of sadness. For in times like these, we are still able to sing praises of our father. For GOD has done a mighty work.
Take this moment to reflect on the teachings of Bishop Ricky O’Neal. And always know that, though near or far, we are always together in the spirit of the Lord. And we shall understand it better, by and by.

First Lady O'Neal and Ricky, In the face of death there is no one to blame, no sign, no job, no certainty, no cure in sight, and no telling what God had in mind.
The days will be filled with the peculiar and strangling frenzy of waiting. You may cry a lot, worry a lot, question a lot, feel lost and sleep little, but in the midst of it all if you would allow God to comfort you, He will. Know that God understands and comprehends your pain. If you let Him, He can transform your helplessness into stength.
Blessed are thos who mourn for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
