Ricky K. Jenkins SUMMERVILLE - The relatives and friends of Mr. Ricky Kyle Jenkins, Sr. are invited to attend his Home-Going Services on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Kingdom Vision Christian Center, 1945 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, SC 29414. Interment - Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC, 29485. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Murray's Mortuary - North Charleston Chapel, 4060 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405. A treasured life ended on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:37 AM as Ricky Kyle Jenkins, Sr., departed his life here on earth. Ricky had a charm and an infectious smile. Shortly after moving to South Carolina from his home in Bronx, New York, he accepted Christ and began faithfully serving at what is now Life Changers Covenant ministries under the leadership of Pastors Charlie and Marion Redish. He met and married the love of his life, Annie P. Jenkins, and to this union, two children were born. Ricky was later employed by Pastors Thomas and Annett Riley at the World Overcomers Ministries, where he served as the office administrator, and was ordained as a Deacon. Ricky was also employed by T-Mobile until his illness. In 2010, Ricky became a member of World Changers Church International under the leadership of Pastors Cerflo and Taffi Dollar, where he spent the last four years of his life as an E-Member. Ricky leaves to cherish his precious memories, his devoted wife of 35 1/2 years, Annie Jenkins; his loving daughter and son, Bethany Karlyle Jenkins and Ricky Kyle Jenkins, Jr.; his mother, Rosetta Jenkins; his brother, Stanley Jenkins (Laurie); his mother-in-law, Daisy Bell Phyall; two brothers-in-law, Adam Phyall (Roslyn) and Bobby Phyall; five sisters-in-law, Mary L. Rozier, Beverly Settle, Elizabeth Snider (Clarence), Shirley Henry (Robert) and Annett Riley (Thomas); and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, cousins, god-children, and Chesnee Hammond with whom he had a special bond.
