Rick was my client dating back to the beginning of my law practice in 1981 as a transportation lawyer. He ran interference for me often with his always determined Mother Brooks Cook. Our professional relationship evolved into a true friendship that I always valued. My deepest condolences to the Kelly Family and may Rick's memory be for a blessing.

I met Rick 12 years ago when I moved back to Charleston and joined the golf league. He was always wearing a smile. I still drink my morning coffee out of one of his trucking company cups, and he made an awesome wing sauce. Rest in peace amigo.
