Rick Folds Obituary

Rick Eugene Folds Charleston - Rick Eugene Folds, 64 of Charleston, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel. Rick was born June 1, 1957, in LaGrange, GA. He took great pride in serving his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. Rick was a licensed boat captain for private clients and worked as both a commercial and residential electrician. Rick is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Freeman Folds; his daughter, Carah Beth Garner (Scott); and two grandsons: Charlie Wyatt and Eli James; his mother-in-law, Margaret Barsch; brother-in-law, Jeff Freeman (Susan); sisters-in-law, Michele Ring (Brian) and Anne Martens (Kane); and eight nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, John H. Barsch, M.D., and brother-in-law, John Heath Barsch. Rick will be so greatly missed by his loving family and many friends who will always remember him for his big heart and unique sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to one of his favorite places to volunteer, Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, N. Charleston, SC 29406. I live on Sullivan“s Island and Rick had been our electrician for years. We were devoted to him and Rick was a wonderful man- so kind-hearted and warm. I have a group of friends who play bridge and we all loved Rick as he was their electrician too. You and your family have my deepest sympathy.
