Richard Fulton Wright Awendaw, SC - Richard Fulton Wright, 94, of Awendaw, South Carolina, husband of the late Zula Lee Brunson Wright died Tuesday, May 16, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Mt. Olivet Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8469 Doar Road. Awendaw at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Richard was born March 6, 1923 in Berkeley County, South Carolina, son of the late Jerry Nelson Wright and the late Sally Pearl Mitchum Wright. He served in the United States Army and was a self employed barber. He attended Mt. Olivet Pentecostal Holiness Church in Awendaw. He is survived by four sons, Richard A.Wright (Judith) of North Charleston, SC, Fulton L. Wright of Awendaw, SC, William Howard Wright (Patty) of Glen Allen, VA and Phillip M.Wright (Lisa) of Mount Pleasant, SC; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
