Richard Worten Obituary

WORTEN, Richard Richard Clarence Worten, Jr., 54, of Bonneau, SC, a former logger, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital. The funeral will be 3:00 PM Friday afternoon, Aug. 31, 2007, at the graveside in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Interment will follow directed by the ST. STEPHEN CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME. Mr. Worten was born Feb. 5, 1953, in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of Richard C. Worten, Sr., and Grace Brown Worten. Surviving are, a sister, Melissa W. Blackburn and her husband, Bill, of Atlanta; a brother, Wayne Worten and his wife, Barbara, of Bonneau; a niece, Heather Carr; and three nephews, Forrest Worten, Devlin Worten, and Kellen Worten.
