Debra & Richard,

I am deeply saddened by the loss of your father. Growing up on James Island with you, I had the pleasure of getting to know your dad some. He was always kind and always supportive of you both. I know you will miss him dearly, but if this adds any comfort, know he is with God.....and very happy.

He is where I call, "Somewhere over the Rainbow", and I know he is at peace. Which is where I feel sure he wants you both to be.

May God be there to comfort you during this difficult time and know that if you need anything, I'll be there.

Dear loved ones,

This is just from me personally. I was sooo lucky to marry into this family where I obtained two great brothers, a wonderful mother-in-law, and sister-in-laws and all the great nieces and nephews to boot. I loved/love them all and I'm certainly going to miss Dick. When we chatted on the phone, we always ended up talking for a good while, catching up, and I certainly will remember all our visits, here and there, as you children were growing up. Life is an ever turning circle and we all come full circle with our life but it really doesn't make things easier. I know you will cherish and love all those good memories your family has made and may it bring comfort to you in all the days ahead.

Christl and I will see you soon...this is Thursday night.

May God bless you and be with you.

Love to you Deb, Rich and families.

Your Aunt Phyllis

Mr. Munday was a very special person, he was one of my supervisors in MWR, at the Naval Station. I could always count on him any time I needed help with anything. It was a pleasure to work with such a great person, and I will remember him fondly. May God bless your family which he loved so much and spoke about with

great affection.

I will keep your family in my prayers. Your Dad was my boss for several years in Charleston and I have often mentioned he was the best boss I ever had. He was always supportive and a great mentor. I have thought of him often over the years.

Mr. Dick is going to be greatly missed. I remember fondly how much fun it was to visit with him and Mrs. Mary. He and Mrs. Mary started my son, Carter's, savings account as an infant, making the very first deposit. Cherish all the wonderful memories you have and let them comfort you in your time of grief. May Deborah and her family travel safely, and my best to Richard, Chelsea, and Jessica.

I am sorry my family will not be able to attend the service, however, please feel free to contact me if you need anything at all--Chelsea knows the number!

With love,

Kristi

My prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Dick was a special person. He helped me when I was a rookie in MWR at Naval Station. He was always there when one of us needed direction.

Your father was very special to my late husband, Bill, and me. He was so proud of his children and his grandchildren (and "granddog")! I'll miss him a lot. He is in God's hands now and that gives me comfort as I pray it will you. We prayed for you all at my bible study last evening. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Please do not hestitate to call on me if you need anything. I'll do all that I can to help you.
