I'm thinking of you today; I'm hoping you can hear me. I can't believe you're no longer at my side. Elliott has become my TV Remote Coach. You'd be proud of me! With Elliott's help, I am actually navigating my way finding not only the regular TV Channels; but, I can use the Apple Remote, too ! (LOL) I hope this makes you smile. I know you're running with the Angels. Love you. me

It has taken me a while to express condolences. Richard was a friend (never said no to a request for help--always kept your best interest in mind--and worked as hard as anyone. We still have Gail and will continue to remain in touch. I will miss you my friend. I will certainly miss you.

Gale, Elliot and Liz,
I was so sad when Barry called to tell me about Richard. My thoughts immediately went to when we met and the fun that we had with our families in Cincinnati.
Please know that I am thinking of you and sending love and hugs. Sandee Golden

I am so very sorry to hear about Richard's passing. I worked for him at the Clark County Water Reclamation District in Las Vegas Nevada. He was by far the best boss and mentor I have ever had. He taught me so much about public service and finance that I will forever be in his debt. WRD was not the same when he left so I took the knowledge he graciously shared with me and moved back to California. I would never have gotten the public service job I now have at the City of Ventura if not for him. My prayers are with his family; I realize the great loss they are feeling without him. My heart aches for you.

Gale, Elliott, Elizabeth and Family,

Please accept our sincerest condolences.

Richard truly defined what a great man should be: a great husband, father and friend; absolutely brilliant, yet humble; and he was able to deal effectively with - and was respected by - everyone. I think his renowned sense of humor helped with that.

It was a real blessing to have known Richard. We will hold you in our hearts and prayers.
