Richard Lee Kopp SUMMERVILLE - Mr. Richard Lee Kopp, 80, of Summerville, husband of Nellie Joan Hansen Kopp, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Summerville Medical Center. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 4 o'clock at Knightsville United Methodist Church, Summerville. Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knightsville United Methodist Church, 1505 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Richard was born on December 14, 1931 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, son of the late Charles William Kopp and Helen Laura (Schaper) Kopp. He served in the United States Navy and retired after 22 years of service. He was owner of Kopp Enterprises, Inc. and was an OTR truck driver for 18 years. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. Surviving in addition to his wife Joan are: Two Sons: Richard Kopp, Jr. of Mesa, Arizona and Kevin Kopp (Jeannie) of Summerville; One Daughter: Brianna Kopp of Summerville; Seven Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; Two Brothers: Charles Kopp and Louis Kopp both of Indiana and his Two Beagle Dogs, Susie & Sandy.
