Richard Huddleston Obituary

HUDDLESTON, Richard Entered into eternal rest on the evening of April 7, 2006, CPO Richard Franklin Huddleston, USN (Ret), husband of Smaragda Nastou Huddleston. Residence, North Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Chief and Mrs. Richard F. Huddleston are invited to attend the Funeral Services of the former in the Greek Orthodox-Holy Trinity Church, Monday morning, April 10, 2006 at ten thirty o'clock. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL. Chief Huddleston was born March 7, 1929, in Flint, Michigan, a son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Lucy Huddleston. He was a retired C.P.O. from the U.S. Navy, serving our country for twenty four years. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and received his Associates Degree from Trident Technical College. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox-Holy Trinity Church, a life-time member of the N.R.A. and the Fleet Reserve. After his retirement from the military, he was self-employed in the food vending industry. Surviving are his wife of North Charleston, SC; two sons, Demetrius Huddleston of Savannah, GA and George Huddleston of North Charleston; two sisters and two grandchildren.
