Richard Allen Hauser SUMMERVILLE - Richard Allen Hauser, 72, of Summerville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Hauser, of Summerville; daughter Meredith Wheeler, of Raleigh, NC; daughter Kimberly Jenkins and husband John with beloved grandson Carter Jenkins, of Mt. Pleasant; and sister Heather Rudisi and husband Phil, of Murrells Inlet. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Ruth Fowler and aunt Winifred Fowler. He was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force and proud to have served his country in the Vietnam War. A graveside military service will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery. Arrangements by McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation of Goose Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Camp Hope PTSD Foundation of America.
