Richard Danner Obituary

DANNER, Richard Richard Leroy "Roy" Danner, 47, of Browning Road, Elloree, died Sunday, February 19, 2006, at his home after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at Jerusalem United Methodist Church. Casket will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Rev. Fred Davis will be officiating. Burial in Jerusalem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by FOGLE HUNGERPILLER FUNERAL HOME. Active pallbearers will be Gerry Sabback, Steve Sabback, Tim Workman, Russell Sheldon, Russell Bradley, Gregg Rowe. Mr. Danner was born in Charleston County, a son of William Danner and the late Velma Browning Danner. He lived in Charleston for a number of years before moving to Elloree several years ago. He was employed as a production assistant with DAX America's LLC. He was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church. Other than his father of Rogersville, Tennessee, survivors include his wife, Linda G. Danner, Elloree, a brother, Mike Danner, Charleston, and four nephews, Scott, Kevin, Wesley and Shawn Danner and aunts and uncles. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home, 176 Browning Road. Memorials may be made to Mabry Center for Cancer Care, 1161 Cook Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118, Hospice of TRMC, P.O. Box 2352, Orangeburg, S.C. 29116, and Jerusalem United Methodist Church, 7050 Old Number Six Hwy., Elloree, S.C. 29047. Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.
