And don´t forget Rik as Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons) as well as Jesus in Superstar, also
the technical director of Charleston Theatreworks. He built all the sets AND the plant for Little Shop of Horrors! There was no end to his talent. A huge loss , any way you look at it.

I just saw this and I and overwhelmed with grief girl. I love you so much. My heart breaks for you. That was the greatest Obituary I have read. Rik was so talented and loved his country!!! I did not know he served overseas
And artist !!! So talented. He in Jesus arms now!! Dancing and praising God. Im sure he's playing his guitar singing how majestic Jesus is. Too many go to heaven and recommitt. I will with later.

My family is sending you all comfort and healing. I was heartbroken to hear about Rik's passing. I met Rik in the 9th grade, and from that moment on, he was an incredible force, often appearing in my life when I needed a good friend most.

Rik was there for me through some of my toughest times, especially helping me navigate the heartache of my divorce. He had a unique way of lifting spirits, and he even taught me how to run a soundboard, sparking a new interest. He then took a chance on me, giving me my first opportunity to manage a band: Rik Cribb and the Problems. Those were truly unforgettable times.

He was always so genuinely happy about my milestones. I remember how thrilled he was when I announced I was getting married, and he was tickled for us on our wedding day. Even years later, when I went back to school to study law, Rik would surprise me with random, perfectly timed messages of encouragement. His belief in me meant the world.

The pain of losing him is immense, but we are all so blessed to have his music. It's a beautiful gift that will keep his spirit alive for us all.

I still can´t believe this has happened. I worked with Rick in the 1602 building years ago at SAIC with the MRAP program. What a COOL guy to work with, not to mention the talent he had as a musician. We had FUN at work believe it or not!! He will truly be missed. Praying for his family & friends

A true legend and a great friend. I am heartbroken over the loss but grateful for all the time we spent together. I've never seen a more talented musician and songwriter. He owned every stage he graced. Your memory will live on.

Blessings and Prayers for Rick and family. His mother was a teacher to my children and such a sweet lady. Being a musician locally, I always heard a lot of good things about Rick.
