I had the honor of working with Dick through my association with Phillips Industrial Services over the years. Dick was a very honorable and hard working individual who would not expect anyone to do a job he couldn't.

Richard's favorite message was that he was 200 hundred pounds of rompin, stopin, romance! Quite a smart man. I will miss him.

I worked for and with Richard at Charleston Naval Shipyard for many years. He was probably the hardest working man I have ever known. Richard always had a terrific positive "get the job done" attitude and loved people. He touched many people's lives in a very positive way.
