Dear Shirley,
I am so sad to learn that Russ passed away last week. Phyllis & John Roy let me know.
Denny was so fond of Russ at Huntington Alloys and loved him as his boss and as a friend. He was held in high regard by anyone who knew him.
We always really enjoyed your company and our get-togethers for lunch years ago. We always had interesting & fun conversations that it was hard to leave as the time just flew.
I know how much you will miss him and may your many happy memories sustain you during this difficult time. I wish I I could give you a big hug and tell you that you will be all right as you are such a strong woman.
I want to extend my sympathy to you and your family in your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Marilyn

Dear Shirley,
Big Russ was the best boss i ever had, Bill was a close second !
Phyllis and I fondly remember the dinner that we had a few years ago with Russ and you at Seabrook Island..
I remember Russ calling out to me on the golf course while I was playing the hole adjacent to your home. What a surprise it was to hear his voice after so many years!
Please know that we are thinking about you and your family at this time. Russ was a wonderful, gentle person who was admired by everyone who knew him.G
Fondly,
John and Phyllis

We send our love. Russ always amazed me with his knowledge and interest in a variety of topics. I especially enjoyed talking sports with him. Most of all, Russ was a good person and family man. (I enjoyed his photo in the the Dodger Blue.)
