Richard Amar Beck GOOSE CREEK - Richard Amar Beck, known as Amar to family, friends, and coworkers, has passed away peacefully on the second of June 2023. After retiring from the Navy, he moved to Goose Creek, South Carolina in 2005. He worked as an operating room technician for Trident hospital for 17 years. He will be remembered for his jokes, pranks, and compassion for other people. He is survived by his children, Richard Aaron Beck, Brianna Marie Blankenship, and Melissa Lacey, the mother of his children and his siblings, Silas Beck, Connie Joy and Marka Joy. Amar was truly loved and will be greatly missed. His memorial service will be held Saturday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Chapel, 707 Chapel Dr., Goose Creek, SC 29445. In lieu of flowers, it would be greater appreciated for similar donations to be made towards AA organizations and local homeless shelters.
