To the family and friends of Reggie's, I can't say enough about him that you already know yourselfs. I worked with him for several years at Honeywell. I saw him everyday at work because he would bring me my samples to test and at the end of the day he would come back and pick up the wagon. He always had a smile and a laugh that I will never forget. He never complained about anything. He was a true man of God. We shared many stories during the time that I worked together. Always about eachothers familys and the Lord. He talked so highly about his family and how much he loved you all. Find comfort in knowing that he is with God now but will forever be in your hearts until you meet again. RIP Reggie you will always be loved and missed by all that knew you. Belinda Duncan

To Evangelist Vera and family
We extend to you and your family our deepest condolences in the passing of a Quiet and Humble Servant of God Deacon Reggie Polite. He was always ready to Pray in whatever the situation was. Take comfort in knowing that he has gone form labor to reward. God never told us not to cry, that's why He gave us tear ducts. He simply said 'when thou pass through the waters, I'll be with you, when the past through the floods, they will not overtake you, when thou walk through the fire you shall not be burned FEAR NOT I AM WITH YOU UNTIL THE END. JESUS Promised He WILL be with you.

Vera and Family,
Words cannot begin to say how we feel about our special friend "Deacon Reggie Polite" who called me "Fancy Nancy" the last time I saw him at the RMBC he took my hand in the hallway and prayed with me and told me whatever was going on with me was going to be alright.
I know he is alright with the Lord now for he was a good man Vera you had a King of Kings. A hard working man who took care of his family, one who loved the Lord did not lean on his own understanding knew just what to say too you when he saw you; he was a praying man too he definitely knew how to pray. I know you all will miss him but please try to find comfort in each other and know that God does not make any mistakes that Deacon Polite was tired he had fought a good fight and was ready to go home and be with the Lord everyone says they want to go to heaven but how many are wiling to give up this earthly live and go home to be with the Lord Deacon Polite was ready.
So weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning and you have your memories and your children to live for and I know you know the Lord and you have your family and your RMBC family and the Button family we are not going no where we love you and there is nothing you can do about that you are stuck with us. (smile).
So hold your head up high my dear Sister Deacon Polite is happy and smiling and wants you to be happy now you have to take over where he left off and take care of the boys.
You went to school and got all those degrees it is time to put them to work. We know you have it in you Vera so be encouraged and anything that we can do to help please do not hesitate to ask us.
We love you all very much and will always remember the times that Diquoarn grew up in this house.
