Reginald Crosby WALTERBORO - Mr. Reginald David Crosby, 78, of Walterboro, entered into his state of eternal rest Sunday evening, June 6, 2010, at the Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro. Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, June 9, 2010, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro, with The Reverend Jerome Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery, Williams. Mr. Crosby was born August 2, 1931, in Williams, and was a son of the late John Cornelius Crosby and the late Sarah Roberts Crosby. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired employee of Old Fort Packing Company in Walterboro. He had attended Doctor's Creek Baptist Church in Walterboro and was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Surviving are: two brothers, James "Doc" Crosby and Mendel J. Crosby both of Walterboro; and four sisters, Patricia Ann Bennett, Shirley Lenora Crosby, Mary Ann Pellum, and Wanda Mae Risher all of Walterboro; as well as several nieces and nephews.
