Regina Knight Obituary

Regina Nettles Knight Summerville - Regina Nettles Knight, 84, widow of the late Donald Randolph Knight, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 1 o'clock until 3 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 3 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Summerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Village at Summerville or Knightsville United Methodist Church. Regina was born September 15, 1936, in Summerville, SC, the daughter of the late Joseph R. Nettles and Lessie K. Nettles. She was a member of Knightsville United Methodist Church. Regina loved people and never met a stranger. She will be remembered as a loving, kind, and giving Christian woman who loved her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Donald Randolph Knight, Jr. (Charlotte), Fred Kenneth Knight (Mindy), Roy Alan Knight, Sr. (Lila), and Cheryl Knight Flowers (Wayne) all of Summerville; her grandchildren, Roy Alan Knight, Jr. (Katherine) of Mt. Pleasant, Fred Kenneth Knight, Jr. (Tracy), Shelley Ren Knight, Jennifer Knight, Melissa Lynn Flowers, Donald Patrick Janney (Melissa), Brian Wayne Flowers, Kyle Lea Janney (Rebecca) and Chelsea Janney Matthews (Ryan) of Summerville; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dianne Nettles of Summerville. In addition to her husband and love of her life for 56 years, Regina is predeceased by her daughter, Kathy and her husband, Rick Janney; son, Larry T. Knight; brothers, Dan, Robert, Charlie, and Melvin Nettles; and her sister, Lula Belle Etheredge. So sorry for your loss. Ms Regina was always someone that brought a smile to my face whenever I saw her. She was so kind and loving. You all were so blessed to have her. God bless you all and many prayers for you through this difficult time
