FORRESTER, Rebecca The family of Rebecca A. Forrester, 70, of Goose Creek regrets to announce her death on the morning of Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Hospice Center of Charleston after a lengthy illness. The family and friends are invited to the visitation Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek (NOTE NEW FUNERAL HOME ADDRESS). A memorial service will be Tuesday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Goose Creek. Her funeral service will be Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3:00 o'clock in Mayo Baptist Church, Mayo SC with burial to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Chesnee, SC. Becky was born December 31, 1937 in Chesnee; daughter of the late Hoyt D. Bonner and Helen Cash Bonner. She married Curtis W. Forrester on May 22, 1955 and traveled with him throughout his 22 year career in the Air Force. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Goose Creek. In addition to her husband, Curtis, she is survived by two daughters, Jennie Neel and her husband John of Chesnee, Patty Chrysostom and her husband Paul of Folly Beach; five grandchildren, Jared, Anastasia, and John Paul Chrysostom, Rachel Parris and her husband Kevin, and Carla Fisher and her husband J.B.; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Ava Chrysostom. Also surviving are her brother, Dean Bonner and his wife Peggy, two sisters, Barbara Blackwell and her husband Dennis, and Kathy Linder, all of Mayo.
