So sad to her of Mr. Shoemakers passing. Some of my fondest memories as a kid was going to Ocean City with the Shoemakers. Mr. and Mrs. Shoemaker treated me like I was one of the family. Years later my family enjoyed our visits with the Shoemakers. He was a kind man who enjoyed life and laughter. My thoughts are with the family.

Ray Shoemaker was our forever friend, buddy and gracious host. There were many occasions when we joined the Shoemakewrs' extended family for a short visit or extended travel. We have great memories and a true feeling of loss with his passing.
When in Mr. Rat's company we could be assured he would say spontaneously something so hilarious and appropriate to the sitauation that everyone hearing him would break into uncontrolable laughter.
What a GUY!
