I taught Raymond social studies when he was 12 years old. Years later, I ran into him at a computer store and invited him to my free judo classes. He became a phenomenal judo competitor and earned early rank. Eventually, I promoted him to 2nd degree black belt in the United States Judo Association. He had a wonderful personality. It was my pleasure to know him.

Ray was an electric player who was a good contributor on our team in 1988. He had a great smile and laugh and was glad to have him as a teammate. I'm so sorry to hear this. Prayers for all his family.
