Dear Hunter family,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of your husband, dad, grand-dad, and great-grand dad. He will always be Uncle Raymond to me and I am sorry that I could not participate in the services in his honor. I cherish the memories of visiting the Hunter's out at the nursery near Adams Run as a child, and later listening to his sometimes horrific stories from his service in WWII (I even appreciated them more after watching Band of Brothers on HBO). One of our fondest adult memories was when Jimmie and Uncle Raymond visited us while they were on vacation to Hawaii when we were stationed at Pearl Harbor. We will all dearly miss him, but I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to share a small part of my life with someone so special.
Love,
Jay Steadman and family
