I am so heart broken to learn of Ray´s passing. Ray was such a wonderful person and a great friend to my late husband, Jim. Ray was the best man at our wedding. I am so very heart broken for Annette. Ray and Annette were such a beautiful couple, alway making everyone feel special! My thoughts and prayers are with Annette, children and grandchildren!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Just thought of you when Joe Harris told me there was going to be a Goins reunion this year. Since Reed's death I have a hard time finding out anything. Ray was a wonderful man and I will always remember him fondly, as will many people I am sure. I feel I was fortunate to know him. The wife of his cousin - Karen Cooper, Fairborn, Ohio

So long old buddy:
After being best friends for seventy years I could fill a book telling of all the good times we shared. Words cannot express how I feel. Ray is gone but not forgotten.

Ray and Annette were the best friends anyone could ever have. Ray and I played second trombone together for years in the Charleston Community Band and he was a dear, sweet, loving friend to me, as was Annette as well. Rest peacefully, Ray.

Ray was one of the nicest people you could meet. I was lucky to be in a musical group with him for a few years. He was always so positive and happy. Ill miss him very much.

Good times, bad times, all times. All these times and experiences over many decades. No matter what our love and respect for each other persisted. Ray will be missed and the best for Annette, the fortress in Ray's life. God bless you in all you do and all you did for Ray. I can honestly say I know what your going through and you have all our love and sympathy. Ray leaves behind a strong and successful person and he knows you will survive and be strong. It's a hole than can never be filled. Tom & Sandy
