Ray you were one hell of a mentor and friend. You always knew what your sailors needed. I know that you will be remembered by many and missed by even more. You touched so many. Love you brother. Master Chief Barnes but always Denise to you. MIUWU205 wish you Fair Winds and Following Seas. Always our brother

I had the privilege of working under Ray. His big contagious smile, and witty commentary always welcomed. Heaven took another good one away from us for now, but we'll all see each other again one day, and there we will celebrate forever more.

I had the pleasure of working with Ray at SAIC for a few years. He was THE funniest guy, always had a huge smile on his face. Everyone he encountered loved his personality and he was a delight to work with. Ray was truly a genuine person and had a great zest for life. Heaven just received the best of the best. I love you brother and rest easy.
