Ray Morrow Obituary

Ray Junior Morrow JOHNS ISLAND - Entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 5, 2009, Ray Junior Morrow, husband of Mildred Caldwell Morrow, of Johns Island, South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ray J. Morrow are invited to attend his funeral service at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC, Tuesday evening September 8, 2009 at six o'clock. The family will receive friends at J. Henry Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel this Tuesday from four o'clock until time of service. Burial in Forrest Lawn Cemetery, Hendersonville, NC, Wednesday September 9, 2009 at three o'clock. Ray was born on June 18, 1937, in Cocke County, Tennessee, a son of the late Landon Morrow and late Mary Smith Morrow. Ray was a Tomato Farmer and owner of Mildred Produce. He sold produce at the Ladson Flea Market for twenty seven years. Ray was also an avid Nascar fan. He was a loving husband, father, grand father and great grand father and will be missed by all. The family would like to thank Hospice of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant for the kindness and unconditional love they gave Ray and his family. Surviving are his wife Mildred of Johns Island, SC; four sons Reverend Robin Morrow and wife Cindy of Fletcher, NC, Billy Morrow and wife Dorothy of Hendersonville, NC, Bobby Morrow of Fletcher, NC, Kevin Morrow and wife Jessica of Johns Island, SC; two daughters Tricia Ainsworth and husband Ken of Johns Island, SC, Gail Welch and husband Glenn of Johns Island, SC; three brothers Carol Morrow, Grady Morrow and Manson Morrow all of Hendersonville, NC; He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a great grandchild Karoline Marie Morrow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gospel Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church, 145 Young's Gap, Fletcher, NC 28732.
