Reg was always a joy to be around. One thing I will always remember is his love of Christmas. As a child, inevitably, by the time Christmas arrived, he has already sneakily discovered the contents of every package under the tree, leaving the rest of us in the neighborhood in awe! He used a knife or scissors, and opened, then rep-wrapped every gift! He would have made quite a sleuth! We will all miss Reg greatly.

Mr. Rose was still thinking of his family even when he was not feeling well. He shared great knowledge with me and demonstrated such a big heart. He will be missed, I am grateful for knowing him.

Dear Esther & Fred, ever since I received your phone call telling about Reg's passing, I have had you all in my thoughts. Reggie was one of my best friends. We graduated together in high school, class of '61. I don't know if you knew this, but Reg was well thought of by not only his classmates but also his teachers. I do not know of anyone who did not think a lot of Reggie. He was known for his quick wit. I have contacted several people who knew Reg, and they had nothing but praise for him. Everyone was shocked to hear about his death. Faye and I always enjoyed our visits with all of you when you all were very young. When I told you I had lost one of my best friends, I really mean just what I said. I will miss him, but I know he is a much better place and not suffering. Please keep in touch and let us hear from you. Love in Christ, Curtis and Faye Chrisman

Dear Fred, Although it hurts our hearts that such a wonderful, kind man has passed, we must keep in mind that he is now so much happier than he was these last few years. We at Dr. Hanna's office were blessed by him for the years he and Betsy were our patients. They were so fond of their little dog - always called him a 'hoot'. Their smiles are missed - but at last they are united in their youthfulness and will never have sadness, sorrow or ill health again. You are in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of loss. Reggie and I graduated together in 1961. I will always remember the kindness that he showed to ALL his classmates. I was able to correspond with him a few months ago and enjoyed our emails. He assured me that he was a Christian and I am sure that he is rejoicing in Heaven with his loved ones. (Romans 8:28) (John 3:16) Sincerely, Barbara Bower Middleton Class of 61

Our families love is with your family during these trying times.
I got out of a 1947 Ford (not sure of the year) onto our gravel driveway in September of 1947, looked across East Main Street and saw Mr. Rose pulling a American Flyer Wagon. I told my Mother that I would be right back. That is the day I met your dad and we have been close friends from that day.
Regards,
