Do you know you are my beauty at its best (it doesn't get any FINER than you)? Did you spend the year looking for your charger? Donald doesn't have it; Sh'kur forgot to pack it. Try not to drain your battery; knowing Sh'kur it will take him forever to get there. It's been a hard year without you. I've spent most of it lost in a thought; wondering how you pick up the shattered pieces of an old life. How do you go on, when in your heart you realize, there is no going on. There are some things time cannot mend; hurts that take hold; pain that go too deep. There's not a second, minute, hour or day that I don't think of you. I miss you! No one misses you more than me; no one ever will. Everyday someone tells me to be strong, they just don't understand; I am heartbroken. The saddest part is the people who I looked to for comfort; kicked me in back when I was already down . King started a new school (no more uniforms). He talks about you a lot and has written your name everywhere. Lil Donald made the varsity team. I know you were running around yelling and screaming when he scored his first touchdown. Did they tell you to close your mouth (lol)? Pierre celebrated his first birthday. He's crawling, walking and trying to talk all at once. I know you're watching over him. Don't worry Sharonna and I will never let him forget you! Keta wedding was lovely. Did you cry when you read the program? I did. You were an Honorary Bridesmaid! Was your Donaldly-Wanly a great escort or what? What did you think of the glass box (does Cinderella come to mind)? I thought it was the most precious way to honor such a young, vibrate, beautiful life. The boys and I shall make this a tradition. I didn't realize until the next day that the candy table was red & white in honor of you; I actually thought it was a Delta thing (smh). Granny is still granny and Caca still holding on to the Gerry curl making a comeback. I found a younger picture of Aunty Muffin; you look just like her! I still cry every time I see her. It seems you've become a local celebrity; Master Mason bears your middle names and Lil Anthony son nickname is "Rae-Rae". Sh'kur took your birthday pretty hard. He drove back from Atlanta to sing Happy Birthday to you. Remember how y'all argued about sharing a party every year? I don't think his birthday will ever be the same; he's not the same without you. None of us are. As for my birthday; I watched the video you made last year (I can hear your voice). You did an amazing job on the birdhouse.
