Dear Lee,
I appreciated learning about your mother from her excellent obituary -- it seems as if she was a very energetic person, intellectually and spiritually curious, who lived a wonderful life.
I offer you and your family my deep sympathy at this time of her death. She will be greatly missed, I can tell.
I'm gratified that Ashley Hall let us know about your mother's passing. You are in my prayers.

To me Rachel was the embodiment of the perfect lady. Always kind, beautifully dressed, precious to be around. Surprisingly 'til you knew her better, Rachel was ready for anything: Russia in the winter - a midnight jazz show in Washington DC, etc. So lucky to have known her.

Sincere condolences, Lee, to you and your family. Your mom and dad, both, were always so kind and good-humored with my mom at St. Philip's. And you continue their legacy of genuine friendship with Mike, Susan, and me. Thank you! We are with you in spirit and love, always. God bless your mom.
