Rachel Crews Obituary

Rachel Monk Crews CHARLESTON - It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we share the passing of Rachel Monk Crews, who went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on December 28, 1931, Rachel lived a life dedicated to family, strength, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where her faith continued to blossom. Her resilience and unwavering spirit made her a guiding force in our lives - a woman whose presence was both comforting and commanding. Rachel found great joy in tending to her garden, working on jigsaw puzzles with quiet focus, and spending time with those she loved most. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Musgrove (Randy); her grandson, Shane Sick (Katie); her granddaughters, Kim Walton (Paul) and Corrine Wright (Zack); her grandson, Travis Musgrove (Madison); and many loving great-grandchildren who will carry her memory with them always. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Franklin Monk and Elizabeth Hodges Monk; her daughter, Karen Polk; and her son-in-law, James Polk. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Westminster Presbyterian Church in honor of her loving spirit.
