To Darryl and Kids:

Priscilla was a great person, and this is spoken from my heart. She was a very strong, outspoken and true to her word person. What you saw was what you got, and she was so passionate about her work. I worked with her for the last five years, and when I started she was the first one to say welcome!. She was a private person, but spoke freely of you and her childern, and I have met you all as well. When I lost my oldest daughter last year she came to be with me and was so worried about me being ok that she wouldn't leave me for a few hours although she had somewhere she needed to be. I remember she said, it can wait, you can't. I will never be able to tell you how much that meant to me. So just know that she is free now and rejoicing along with my girl in the kingdom. Let memories replace the sadness you can't help but feel and just know that God will make it alright for you really soon. Please know that I loved Priscilla and will miss her too.

I was saddened to hear of Priscilla's passing. Priscilla was the classmate who always had a smile on her face, and aimed to make you smile. She was truly a blessing. Through your difficult time, trust God and He will carry you through. Remember just wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; Psalms 27:14.

Priscilla was truly a member of the DIVAS (Divine, Inspirational Virtous, Annointed, Sister). I worked with her as a team player in Columbia SC with the Best Chance Network/American Cancer Society. She loved her work in Outreach and sharing the message with the communities in SC of "Early Detection is the Best Protection". I am now serving with the military and I was very saddened to hear of her passing, but I know her memory will be forever....all my love and well wishes to the family

Darryl, Shamair and D.J. -

Romans 15:2 - "Let each one of us make it a practice to please his neighbor for his good and for his true welfare, to strengthen him and build him up spiritually."

Our lives are richer for having known Priscilla. Her example of strength, love for her family and more importantly her love for Christ has touched our hearts. She is sheltered in the arms of God and we have the assurance that one day we will all be together again.

Galatians 5:14 - "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." And we certainly do.

You are uplifted in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Wright family. Fannie may not remember me but, Priscilla and I were very good friends in the mid 80's when she and Carolyn Rice were roomates. She had a heart of gold with a beautiful smile. I'm sure she will be missed by everyone. I'm so sorry to hear that she was ill and has moved on. I know for sure that she's in a better place with no more suffering. God Bless

From: Nathan and Darrow-Felder Riley and Family

Bowman, SC

My heart is filled with so much pain learning of my friend. We have been together for so many wonderful years as a soro, friend and outreach worker for the American Cancer Society/Best Chance Network.

She taught me the meaning of life , love, patience, and self control. She made me laugh when I felt sad and being there along life's way. Many times we travel and work on projects, hoping to make a difference in the lives of women across the state of South Carolina.

My Friend, My Soro, My Inspiration !

To Darryl, children and family, keep the almighty God in your heart and be filled with the love and care that she shared. Remember, God is in every plan and he makes no mistake.

I will truly miss her !

Loretta and Family..I'm sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

LIFE...so fragile. LOSS... so sudden. HEART...so broken. In the wake of such a loss, we're haunted by things we don't - and may never - understand. Yet the solace we seek may not come from answers. So we look for comfort in the belief of love's everlasting connection. May that love lift you, hold you close, and give you peace.

To the Wright and Ancrum Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Priscilla was a classmate of ours and I will always remember her by the way she loved to laugh, she was my friend from kindergarten. Although we didn't see each other all the time, but when we did we had so much to talk and laugh about.

Priscilla rest in peace; the battle is not yours, it belongs to the Lord.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Priscilla was my best friend in college, my roommate for a number of years, my sorority sister (Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.) and a wonderful person that loved to laugh. Even though our lives went in different directions, we still managed to keep in contact with one another. I was heartbroken to learn of her illness and deeply sadden by her death. She will forever remain in my thoughts and her family in my prayers. All her pain and suffering is now over and she is peacefully at home in Heaven.
