Prentiss Flowers Obituary

Prentiss Clark Flowers BRANCHVILLE, SC - Prentiss Clark Flowers, 56, of 130 Park Circle, Branchville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Cotton Gin Country Church with the Reverends Craig Crosby and David Drumheller officiating. Prentiss was born on October 21, 1955 in Charleston, a son of the late Prentiss Ingram and Lyla Marie Powell Flowers. He was a retired painter with the Charleston Shipyard, a member of the Sons of the American Legion and attended the Cotton Gin Country Church. Surviving is his wife, Mary Almers Flowers; a son, Raymond David Coffield, Jr.; two daughters, Opal Renea (Louis) Childers and Mary Carolyn Reeves; two brothers, John David Flowers and James Calvin (Susann) Flowers; three sisters, Marilyn (J.W.) Leary, Patricia (Ed) Smith and Pam Renner; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visit our guestbook at www.postandcourier.com/ deaths
