Nov 22, 2025 was the first anniversary of my mother's passing. I sense her presence in my life and she has appeared in my dreams. Notes she sent me over my lifetime surprise me from time to time when they fall from between the pages of books or cards. That for me is her way of letting me know she is still present and watching over me. Mommy will be eternally loved by each of us.

It is so precious to see the two new entries by those who met my mother so many years ago when she joined a Study Abroad to Guadalajara, Mexico! I am so very proud of her lasting impact on those she met. Thank You for these kind words and wishes for her eternal peace.

My sincere condolences to the Cobb family. I met Mrs. Cobb while attending Santa Monica College, she was a very lovely and caring person. I'm blessed to have met her....

Dearest Sister-Friend Portia. I am holding you and your family close to my heart and in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Your mother was a remarkable woman and a shining example of how to lean it to a life well lived with grace and dignity. Her legacy lives on in you, Nirvana, and Amaker.

I am grateful for my Gamma. Such an incredible and strong woman. She had a quiet fire about her that I admired. I will miss making her laugh the most. She enjoyed my remixes of the musical shows we watched, or my impersonations of the Showtime at the Apollo dancers. In her honor, I will pick back up piano lessons so that I can keep her entertained as she watches over all of us.

My memories of Cousin Phyllis is something I will never forgot. She was quiet n soft spoken. She showed lots of love to her family. She loved to write I didn´t. I would call her. She was always glad to hear from me. Hold on to your memories and thank GOD for all the times you had to spend with her. May Cousin Phyllis rest in peace. We love her but GOD love her best. I share my sympathies with Ruby´s entire family and particularly with Portia. I learned through Portia´s pictures and storytelling about Ruby as a person, mother and grandmother. I sensed Portia´s bond, care and curiosity as expressions of love for her mother. I hope her memories give you peace in this time of grief.
