Phillip Major, Sr. MT. PLEASANT - Mr. Phillip Major, Sr., 74, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of the late Mrs. Rosalie Major passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Long Point Missionary Baptist Church, 1857 Snowden Rd., Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. The interment was private. He is survived by his children: Jacqueline Major (John), Tyrone Major (Crystal), Darrell Major (Niecey) and Salina Major; eleven grandchildren; siblings: Christopher Major, Jr. (Sandra), Lawrence Major (Lillian), William Major (Louise), Laura Pinckney (Jerome) and Terrince Major and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
