Phillip Major Obituary

Phillip Major, Sr. MT. PLEASANT - Mr. Phillip Major, Sr., 74, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of the late Mrs. Rosalie Major passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Long Point Missionary Baptist Church, 1857 Snowden Rd., Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. The interment was private. He is survived by his children: Jacqueline Major (John), Tyrone Major (Crystal), Darrell Major (Niecey) and Salina Major; eleven grandchildren; siblings: Christopher Major, Jr. (Sandra), Lawrence Major (Lillian), William Major (Louise), Laura Pinckney (Jerome) and Terrince Major and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher and Florence Ellis Major. Expressions of sympathy to the family may be made on line at www.palmettomortuary.com.
