Never had the opportunity to meet him. My mother was the daughter of John O'Neil, the brother of Peter O'Neil, Sr. May he enjoy the reward of eternal life with the Lord.

To the Family:

So sorry for your loss. May the

God of all Comfort be with you.

In 1973 Mr. O'Neil arranged for my transfer from a California Post Office to Donaldsonville. I really appreciated his efforts in getting me back home. I will always remember him.

Sincerely:

James T. Matthews

Pat, I was saddened to see your loss. You always seemed to speak of your family in La. so fondly. I enjoyed reading about your father's life. I know he must have been very proud of both his boys. And I know he feels at peace that you will always make sure your brother is protected. Take care of yourself and know that you are in my thoughts.
