I just learned that we lost Pete. I'm shocked. Pete was a friend and roommate at College of Charleston, but before the Internet, we lost track of so many people. I tried to track him down today and just learned we lost him a few years ago. I probably haven't seen or spoken to him since the early 1980s, and yet I still remember Pete as one of the kindest, friendliest, interesting, giving, patient, peaceful and wonderful people I've ever known. He taught me to play the guitar, yes, but he also showed me so much more. Rest in peace, Pete. I miss you and will never forget you.

Pete Ledbetter Was A Folk Musician In The Charleston Area He Played At Banana Cabana On The Isle Of Palms and Other Venues In Charleston I Will Miss Him A lot Cause He Was A Good Man and He Loved Music All His Life.
