Pete Peters Obituary

Pete Peters, Jr. Moncks Corner - Pete O. Peters, Jr., 71, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired line crew supervisor with Santee Cooper, died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital. His funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday morning, August 12, 2017, in the Moncks Corner Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM this Friday evening. Mr. Peters was born July 1, 1946, in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of Benjamin Franklin Peters and Hattie Gertrude Anderson Peters. He was of the Holiness faith and an Army veteran of Vietnam. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Peters was a very humble, kind, and giving soul who enjoyed doing for others and expected nothing in return. Surviving are his wife, Dotty Bordeaux Peters; a daughter, Cindy Williams and her husband, Chris, of Moncks Corner; a son, John Peters and his wife, Amy, of Russellville; two sisters, Linda Terry and Betty Peters both of Moncks Corner; a brother, Leroy Peters of Moncks Corner; and four grandchildren, Cole Peters, Jacob Peters, Gracie Peters, and Chance Williams.
